The New Foundation has come along way since their inception and their dedication to the community and kids in the program couldn't be more clear. They are open minded and willing to go out of the way to help the teens in the program succeed. It's unfortuante to see so many negative reviews because they don't quite capture the real, transformational work that goes on behind the scenes. Nor do they provide any constructive, actionable feedback. Instead, it sounds like a handful of people had a less than optimal experience and they're voicing their strong opinion as a sort of deterrant to keep others out. When in reality, the staff genuinely cares about the health and well being of the kids but this is the real world and not everyone can have a perfect experience. Given the life and family cirmcumstances most of the kids come from, the New Foundation provides a much needed reprieve to engage, empower and bring hope to teens struggling at such a young age.

My experience here was complicated, but not bad. Most of the challenges i faced while i was here were within myself. I think most of the staff were great and some of them couldve helped me a lot more if i let them. I wasnt really one to open up and im glad i did as much as i did. Honestly, no one wants to be in a place like this. Thats probably where a lot of these bad reviews are coming from. I cant say i was happy to be there either, but at the time i needed to be. I cant say everyone there was my best friend or that i had a deep conversation with every staff, but i was there for a reason and that reason was resolved. The New Foundation honestly helped me find myself because when i first got there i was so lost and i thought nothing would ever change. I was stuck in my ways. I opened up to a few of the staff that i trusted and they believed in me. They encouraged me to pursue my dreams and live my life the way i want to live it. I cant say that i enjoyed every minute of it, but I am glad that i spent time here for myself because i am so much better of a person today.

I absolutely loved this place. My daughter went there and she said that this place helped her a lot. When I talked to the director in charge of this place myself, I noticed how she cared and frequently kept me updated on my daughters progress. I heard that the peers interacted well and the staff there were very professional and overall I believe that if your child has a behavioral health issue, and you need to know if the place is ideal for them, I highly advise to send them there!
